Underworld / Fissure of Woe
I need to do UW and FOW for my Hall of Monuments. Problem is, I can only ever find speed clear groups, and how can I get the required experience if groups only accept experienced players? I've played 1,700 hours on my Elementalist and I have played through UW as T1 (wastes) build for a speed clear group, but I just can't get into any groups because I've never cleared it and have no ghastly stones.
Probably my best option is to look for a guild. I'm a guild leader of a tiny tiny guild where I'm really the only active member and I'm really stubborn so I don't want to leave my guild, but I might have to. Any other suggestions? Anyone recruiting, or clearing UW/FoW? |

It's pretty annoying indeed.... I would just recommend you to finish them with 7h , considering NM is relatively easy ,especially for FoW.... Bring 3 sf eles + 2 HB monks , all with leech sig + power drain , 2 discorders + you on any random bar and you will finish both of them fast and easily....
If you do not want to use heroes , then just wait for a pug team , but most will want to do it on HM ( and most will fail too) so that's a bit harder.... |

Definitely jump into Fissure of Woe with confidence. It's actually really easy. Just read the wiki descriptions for the individual quests so you don't be a moron like me and go kill the Wailing Lord or something like that.

as for the UW, so called "practice" groups (0-10 Ghastly Stones) fail as often as 100+ grps TBH.
If U can do T1 without much problem under 20minutes holla at me in game (IG: The Mordiego) so I can take U along with my 250+ grp I form every day. I will vouch for U if u answer a few basic Questions regarding uw quests^^ T1 is the easiest part after all |

If you got 2-3 hours to spare, take time to read my guide here - http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/7...t10480563.html - and load up the build Jeydra made for the Underworld and 7H through UW for the monument. Jeydra's build is listed few posts down.

UW is really the trick if you are new at it. Fissure may seem daunting because you haven't done it but it really is a breeze. Go through FoW with guildies/friends.

I sometimes do a Full Fow Clear by myself and 7H's i use cons just for the giggles but i actually just kill every foe in the realm just for the lolz, usually takes me <2 hours to kill literally every foe in the area, if you don't kill everything obviously it's a lot quicker but i do it for the drops and XP on survivors, i used to do FoWsc a lot but i got tired of fail groups and i was ever into Uwsc ever, so i can see where you're coming from for your Statues, theres always people who do Full FoW runs under the Services Offered thread all are like 50k a run in NM..just a thought if you're interested in that instead of going into fow blind or not having Wiki up and not really sure where everything is and taking 2++ hours

check out the services threads in Ventari's--sometimes there are people willing to take a few less skilled/practiced along (yeah for a fee)...but you should be able to do most of uw with little practice--and 7h, fow is easy with heroes. (even for us noobs)

Buy the stones if you feel like trolling them 30 mins into the run.

Yeah, 7h FoW isn't much of a problem but I still haven't managed to 7H UW yet, even in NM I can't manage 4H quest with my standard team (no it isn't discord).

I came up with a rather foolproof way of doing 4H with heroes, read about it in the thread I linked few posts up. It's rather clever and any profession can do it.

If you'd like real people, count me in. I may be able to round up a few people so heroes dont have to be used. I love that area, it's my favorite.

UW: since you can ele.. t1 or emo. both easy and stones should only make a difference in how fast you find a group, not how many fails youll have before completion. if you can play euro hour, toa is packed during those times.
FOW: is really easy..heroes or balanced groups..if people still pug searing flames you could try that...or e/me. |
